MLUtilities Overview

This library is a collection of classes needed as basics for the ML or the MeVisLab Module Libraries. It contains a set of basic classes, like Basic stuff used by the ML and most ML modules, like

• a convenience class to manage date and times (ml::DateTime),
• the runtime type system (ml::Runtime, ml::RuntimeDict, ml::RuntimeType),
• error handling classes (ml::ErrorOutput and ml::ErrorOutputInfos),
• precise time measurement (ml::TimeCounter),
• a notify class (ml::Notify),
• a memory manager (ml::Memory),
• a simple platform independent thread management library (mlThreads.h)
• uni code-support (a set of functions to convert between UTF? codes and latin1 (mlUnicode.h),
• file system support for platform independent support of file IO with uni code file names (mlFileSystem.h)
• and some other stuff like a C-interface to these classes and error handling macros (mlUtilsAPI.h and mlErrorMacros.h).
