MeVisLab 2.2 Release Candidate available

We are proud to offer the new MeVisLab 2.2 Release Candidate, a major update of the MeVisLab SDK software. The release candidate is provided to get feedback from the MeVisLab community. We plan to release the final 2.2 version in June 2011.

The highlights of this version are:

  • MATE (MeVisLab's text editor) is now a standalone application, which communicates with running MeVisLab instances via IPC
  • MeVisLab now contains a full featured Python debugger, which allows breakpoints and call stack introspection
  • Profiling has been improved and now contains a call graph view
  • The GVR Volume Renderer now offers a full featured ray caster and many new modules
  • New module documentation format (mhelp) and help editor replaces HTML documentation of modules
  • Update of many thirdparty libraries (DCMTK, ITK, VTK, ...)
  • Various new modules contributed by MMS and FME
  • Support for Visual Studio 2010
