The 5.0.0 release includes many changes and bugfixes. Some of the more notable changes are:
- We introduced support for license keys. License keys require online access, but are easier to handle than license files.
- From now on, users with a commercial license can use the same SDK as every other user. And building application installers does not require an add-on installer anymore.
- 5.0 comes with a separate launcher application that allows to select the started MeVisLab version.
- Our colleagues from Fraunhofer MEVIS have contributed a machine-learning framework to the SDK: Look for modules with "TileProcessor" in their name.
- Some scripting methods that have been deprecated in previous versions were removed.
